Lymphatic Drainage

What is lymphatic drainage?
Lymphatic drainage is a manual massage technique designed to stimulate the circulation of lymph — a colourless fluid essential to the proper functioning of the immune system and the elimination of metabolic waste.
Unlike blood, lymph does not have a central pump to drive its circulation. It relies on muscular movement, breathing... or external stimulation such as massage to flow correctly.
When this circulation slows down (due to fatigue, stress, a sedentary lifestyle, an unbalanced diet, surgery, etc.), the body can accumulate toxins and retain fluids, leading to swelling, heavy legs, dull skin or digestive discomfort.
The Renata França Method
Developed in Brazil, the Renata França method is an innovative, dynamic approach to lymphatic drainage. Unlike traditional techniques, which tend to be much gentler, it is characterised by: firm, precise pressure, a steady and vigorous rhythm, and exclusive pumping and gliding manoeuvres.
This protocol activates lymph flow more intensely while fully respecting the body's anatomy and structure.
